Former director of the Imam Malik Institute and founder of Karate in The Gambia

Muhammad Kaba Musa - Rahimahullah was a Gambian educator, former General Director of Imam Malik Islamic Institute, and a pioneering national figure. Born in Kaba Kunda, Basse and a graduate of Al-Azhar University Cairo in 1992, he taught for 13 years at Tallinding Kunja, led Imam Malik Institute, and served as Imam and Khateeb of Sinbo Doqati Mosque. He was also the founder who introduced and legally registered Karate in The Gambia, training generations including politicians, members of the Armed Forces and the President himself.
